On June 19, we had an absolutely eventful day at ICT campus as the experienced IGEM: Team ICT-Mumbai team, shared their learnings & experiences of participating at iGEM in past 2 years. Together, we had interesting discussions around our Team Projects and how participating at iGEM can lead to community building!

Achievements by riidl Team

Bhavna Pandya from our team invited a research graduate Mr. Mani Jammalamadaka from MIT Media Labs for working on a collaborative project at riidl after which signed a MOU with MIT Media Labs as Community Partner

Hetal Mundra and Amit Yadav from our team started 2 initiatives at The Somaiya School on ‘Design Thinking’ & ‘Digital Fabrication’. This was done to make innovation as part of education on our Somaiya Vidyavihar campus

Raj Dhiravani from our team raised INR 1 Lakh from Aditya Birla Capital to make developers solve some of the pressing issues faced by entrepreneurs in the society through program ‘Code Adventure’

Hetal Mundra from our team started riidl Chapter at K J Somaiya College of Science & Commerce. This was done to make innovation as part of education on our Somaiya Vidyavihar campus thus empowering ideas - ideas that will create new drugs, diagnostics, devices, vaccines, IT products, hardware products, services which are sector agnostic acting as changemaking movement

Bhavna Pandya from our team collaborated with Merck Lifesciences and American Society for Microbiology

Gaurang Shetty, CEO, riidl raised INR 17 Lakhs as CSR from Innoven Capital
