Hetal Mundra, Community Architect - riidl is working towards making Innovation inherent in education on campus. With that vision, we are setting up riidl chapters/ riidl events/ Design clubs across campus. Our first riidl Chapter was launched at K J Somaiya College of Science & Commerce to identify, fund and nurture revolutionary ideas from students. The goal of this chapter is to empower ideas - ideas that will create new drugs, diagnostics, devices, vaccines, IT products, hardware products, services which are sector agnostic acting as changemaking movement.

40 tech entrepreneurs from New South Wales visited riidl. They were exposed to various programs and startups under riidl and given a brief overview on the kind of work, entrepreneurs, infrastructure and incubation facilities provided by riidl.

Mock Committee from National Board Accreditation visited riidl. They were exposed to various programs and startups under riidl and student innovator working with riidl, currently studying in K J Somaiya College of Engineering interacted with them on how riidl supports.

Faculties & Students of Swami Vivekananda visited riidl.

Eventbrite Research team visited riidl to learn the role of events related to maker and startup communities and understand new markets to explore in India, localize their products, spot opportunities for innovation. They also wanted to explore how their technology can better support creativity, entrepreneurship, and community connections around the world.

Gyanada Foundation organized a field visit for their Saathi Schools to riidl. The students from various partner schools of Gyanada were taken to riidl with an objective to acquaint them with the latest technological equipments and enable critical thinking and peer-to-peer learning through various challenges/activities.

Riidl sets up an incubator at K J Somaiya Institute of Engineering & Information Technology with the grant received from Maharashtra State Innovation Society to identify, fund and nurture revolutionary ideas. The goal of this incubator is to empower ideas - ideas that will create more successful startups and projects who will be identified as a changemaker.
