Talk by Prof. Ramesh Raskar from MIT Media Labs USA organized by riidl in association with Facebook Developer Circles Mumbai on "What’s new at MIT Media Labs with glimpses of the cutting edge research, plus some new work in AI led by Prof Raskar’s at MIT"! Over 450+ developers, research graduates, students and startups attended this event.

Darwin (http://thedarwin.in) collaborated with American Society for Microbiology & SIRAC to organize Agar Art Workshop wherein participants learnt about some special microbes that produce an array of beautiful and striking colors.

riidl hosted laser cutting workshop wherein participants learnt everything from using software like RDWorks, inkscape, Illustrator to Laser Cutter to design some cool products.

riidl organized AR VR training as part of Skill Development workshop in association with Facebook Developer Circles Mumbai for such awesome kids. The session was planned with an introduction to AR & VR technologies followed by letting the kids experience VR devices and AR filters. Based on what they learnt, quiz was conducted. The instructor did a demo / hands-on session in batches of 4 kids and helped them create a filter. Kids were also taught to design using 3D modeling softwares like Tinkercad and Spark AR. 60+ young students aged 12 years from rural parts of Maharashtra attended the workshop who wanted to learn from the community!
